About Lydia Shewchuk

Lydia was born in small-town Saskatchewan, Canada and spent the majority of her years in Calgary, Alberta, Canada working as a Physical Therapist. It was during ‘that life’ that she became interested in real estate through searching for her first home.

When Lydia and her husband Kevin chose to relocate to Massachusetts and the time came to sell their home, it was incredibly difficult to leave after all the memories made there.

In the US, Kevin and Lydia lived in a beautiful 100 year-old home on a lakefront in Massachusetts, surrounded by mother nature – majestic trees, foggy mornings and wildlife from deer to wild turkeys, herons to turtles and plenty of fish jumping. It was glorious but isolating and they yearned for city life again. It was during this period of self-reflection and future planning that Lydia’s opportunity to pursue Real Estate became a new focus.

Their decision to relocate to New Mexico was a fabulous choice! With the natural beauty and incredible weather, New Mexico easily lived up to its slogan: 'The Land of Enchantment'. They bought their home within the first year, and Lydia focused on serving both retail clients and investors, yet has fallen in love with assisting buyers. She has consistently been one of the Top Producers in her Brokerage, all while mentoring 6 other Realtors.

With a sincere dedication and desire to go above and beyond, Lydia provides excellent service to those on their home-hunting journey as well as those leaving a space they loved.
